Focus with a purpose
Follow instructions, work on a specific technique, and learn to return attention to the task at hand.
Ages 7–12
Help your child build practical skills, focus, and confidence through traditional Korean Taekwondo. Our Ridgewood school welcomes children beginning their journey and students ready for their next challenge.
The KT approach
Children learn more than a sequence of movements. Listening to a correction, repeating a technique, and working respectfully with others all matter. At KT, progress is earned through consistent effort and individual guidance.

Build coordination and Taekwondo fundamentals, with classes organized by experience and belt level.
Your first visit
We’ll ask about your child’s age and experience, then recommend a class. During the trial you can get to know the school and discuss the next step with Master Kim. There is no need to choose a belt-level class on your own.
How to prepare for your first classMake a plan
Beginner, intermediate, advanced, and black belt classes appear throughout the week. Saturday also includes a children’s class. Ask us to match your child with the right class.
